Does Drake have a tax organizer?
Yes, an option to produce "fillable" PDFs of organizers and proformas that can be emailed or uploaded to Drake Portals (previously SFP) program is available starting in Drake16. In Drake16, fillable PDFs are only available for Organizers.
Tax planning scenarios are only available for individual returns in Drake22 and prior. Starting with Drake23, you can also create tax planner scenarios in business returns. Open a client's return and click the Tax Planner icon to open the Tax Planner dialog box.
To run the organizer(s), go to Last Year Data > Organizers and proceed as you ordinarily would, until you click Process 1040. After you click Process 1040, the Print Organizers/Proformas screen appears. Select Upload document(s) to Drake PortalsTM and notify client(s) via email.
Click Process [return type] at the bottom of the window. The software scans the clients chosen and then displays the Organizer/Proforma – Print Options window. Choose to send the documents to your printer, save to Drake Documents (previously DDM), upload to Drake Portals, and/or generate fillable PDFs. Click Print.

Organize tax documents using a folder structure.
Organize tax documents by year and category by using sub-folders. For example, you could have a folder for 2022 documents and further split your PDFs into different invoice, receipt, and tax form folders.
Click and drag any of the custom items from the Available Items pane into the Checklist or Questionnaire pane. Drag and place these items into the checklist anywhere you wish and edit the titles and text as needed. Place Custom Checkbox Items (nested) beneath a Custom Group Items heading.
Separate reporting of Form 1099-K is no longer required by the IRS. Within Drake Tax, gross receipts received via payment card (credit and debit cards) and third party network payments can be entered on the following screens as an undifferentiated part of gross receipts: Screen C - Schedule C. Screen E - Schedule E.
